Henry Edward Jones was born July 16, 1949, and sadly passed away August 21, 2023. Born to Charlie & Lillie Jones, brother to Charles Jones and Trudie Bonner. Known to everyone simply as Henry, he lived a life full of travel, love, and friendship. Wherever he went, whether that be to Egypt, the Dominican Republic, or the elementary schools he worked at, he was never one to leave a room without making friends.
He is survived by his sisters, Selena Jones and Gail Mixon, daughter Novonna Jones, and grandchildren Armon Owens, Olajuwon White, and Qyanna Ford, as well as his special friend Julie Abbott. The light he gave off in life means he will be missed by many and we are all so grateful for the time we shared with him.
A memorial service is scheduled for 4:00 PM, Friday, September 29, 2023 at Chapel of Memories(829 S Hancock Ave.)
