James Peter "Pete" Rocks, 71, a lifelong resident of Colorado Springs, passed away suddenly at home on July 30, 2025. On August 30, 1975, Pete married the love of his life, Marcia Anderson, and together they raised three children with love, instilling the importance of family above all else. As owner of Jolly Plumbing, a family business founded in 1955, he was a well-known and respected member of the plumbing and construction industry. He will be remembered for his generosity, steady presence, and devotion to family, and will be deeply missed.
Survivors include his wife, Marcia; children Steven (fiancée Brittany) Rocks, Brianna (Joey) Delorme, and Katy (Bryan) Leone; eight grandchildren; brothers Mike (Debby) and Jack (Rachel); and extended family including Jacob Schell, whom he loved as a son. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gary and Barbara Rocks.
A Celebration of Life will be held Wednesday, August 27, at 10:00 a.m. at Springs Funeral Services, 3115 E. Platte Ave., Colorado Springs. A full obituary and memorial details will be available at tsfs.co.
