James "Jimmy" Sutherland

James Sutherland known to his friends and family as "Jimmy" was born in Germany on December 11, 1947 when his father was in the service. He passed away peacefully on 8/1/2021 at his home in Vail, Arizona with his loving wife, Faith Brennan, at his side.
Jimmy was raised and spent most of his adult life in Colorado Springs, Colorado and moved to Arizona in 2006. He is survived by his wife of 15 years, Faith Brennan, daughters Laura (Johnny) Yonekura and Paula (Mike) Gartin as well as his three grandchildren Michael, Maddy and Mitchell. He also leaves behind his sister Karen Nonan, of Colorado Springs.
Jimmy loved riding his Harley with friends and family, especially in Arizona where the weather allowed him to ride all year. His love for his family was a major influence in his happiness. He adored his daughters and his grandchildren were the highlight of his life. One of his favorite pastimes was sitting on the back patio overlooking the pool and watching the quail and desert wildlife scurry about. Jimmy was a very good man and he will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
