Janice Hanley Campbell was born June 16, 1930, in Pittsburgh, Pa, to now deceased paraents, William and Beatrice Hanley. She is survived by her brother William Hanley. His wife, Jackie and Janice's sister Beatrice Mengel have pre-deceased her.

Janice graduaated from Beaver High School, where she servd as a cheerleader, gym leader, and was a member of the National Honor Society. She then was acceptedd as a nursing student at Shadyside Hospital, Pittsburgh, Pa. She graduated, becoming an R.N. in 1952. Her employment in operating room nursing took her to Bar Harbor, Maine, Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland, VA Hospitals in Ann Arbor Michigan and Denver, Colorado. She loved nursing and was outstanding in all her positions, especially at Johns Hopkins, where she met her future husband, Dr. Oliver P. Campbell. Janice and Oliver reunited in Denver, and were married in Denver on November 22, 1958. After Oliver's urology residency at Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee, the family moved to Colorado Springs, Colorado, where Oliver set up his urology practice. Fortunately Janice was able to be a "stay-at-home" mother and she did a magnificent job raising our 4 children to be first rate, productive citizens. Jan was an exceptional seamstress and an excellent bridge player and athlete and had a gift for making timely decisions. She was also very active in Coorado Springs, becoming a member of the Junior League, and helping form the first auxilliary at Memorial Hospital, where she was president the first two years. She became involved with the Broadmoor Ski Racing Club, where the children trained and practiced their racing skills. She also helped form and worked with the Colorado Springs Youth Soccer Club, serving as secretary and as a soccer referee for 12 years. All the family became soccer playeres and referees, and all were avid skiers. As the children matured, Janice attended travel schools, becoming a travel agent in 1980 and a Certified Travel Consultant in 1989. Her travel agent positions were in Colorado Springs and Phoenix, Arizona. Janice loved her family deeply: her husband Oliver, and their sons Oliver II, Kevin, and Roger, and daughter Arden, and all their spouses: Carol, Danna, Christie, and Paul. She really loved her grandchildren: Ollie III, Jennifer, Dakota, Haley, Zach, another Zach, and Brooke. My husband, Oliver, was an outstanding Physician and father, and my very best fraiend. We celebrated 63 years of happiness and marriage.

I will really, really miss my family. Please don't grieve too long, for I will be in your hearts, and you in mine, Forever!
