Jerry Howell Obituary

Mr. Jerry E. Howell, age 71 of Colorado Springs, Colorado and formerly of Greenville, Ohio passed away at 2:10 P.M. Saturday August 29, 2009 at the Memorial Hospital of Colorado Springs. Jerry was born January 8, 1938 in Celina, Ohio. He was the son of the late Lewis and Mary (Webb) Howell. Jerry retired in 1992 as the owner and operator of Howell's Computer Center of Greenville, Ohio. Also he was the former owner of Howell's Rental & Sales Store of Greenville. Jerry's hobby which developed into a 2nd career was his Model Engines and Design Plans. He is survived by his wife Edith (Sell) Howell of Colorado Springs. They were married May 3, l958. Also daughters and sons in law-Sherry & Jeff Hogg of Colorado Springs, Charlene & Kelley Keach of Colorado Springs, sons and daughter in law-Allen & Carmen Howell of Hollansburg, Ohio and Roger Howell of Kansas City, Kansas. Also surviving are 7 Grandchildren, 2 Great Grandchildren, brother and sister in law-Larry & Gloria Howell of New Paris, Ohio and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Friday September 4, 2009 in the Zechar Bailey Funeral Home Greenville, Ohio with the Rev. Mike Simmons officiating. Burial will follow in the Abbottsville Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 5 till 7 P.M. in the Zechar Bailey Funeral Home.
