Jerry Shuman Obituary
He is survived by his wife Carol (Linam) of 43 years, son Carl, daughter Virginia "Lea" (Robert) Montgomery, grandchildren, Trevor Shuman, Vanessa Shuman, Kayle Hahn, Alyssa Montgomery & Brysen Montgomery. He is also survived by step-father Ivan Dew, sisters Eva (Dana) Bishop, Leva (Chuck) Rodacker, Robin (Rick Bremer) Gough, sister-in-law's Terri Shuman, Juanita Wilcox, brother-in-law John Linam. He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl W. Shuman & Wilma (Dittemore) Dew, brother Stephen Shuman and sister Cindy Shuman Foster.
Jerry leaves behind numerous aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews, cousins and dear friends, both old and newly found.
Jerry worked for Albertsons for 34 years and after retirement for X-Ray Services and Supply. He attended Palmer High and Cañon City High School. Jerry was a member of Rustic Hills Baptist Church.
Services will be held Wednesday, January 29 at Rustic Hills Baptist Church at 11 a.m. located at 1927 N Murray Blvd, Colorado Springs, CO 80915.
In lieu of flowers please donate to Pikes Peak Humane Society or the National Wildlife Federation.

My Friend...I remember you when you and Carol first got married and lived as our neighbors on Harrison Street in Canon City..Although out lives were separated by time and raising our children, you and Carol always held a special place in my heart...You will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved you....Carol..my friend, you are such a strong, special lady and I know you will miss Jerry so much...sending much love and prayers to you and your family at this time...
