Jesusa Flores Obituary

Jesusa G. Flores, 81, beloved wife, mother and grandmother passed away peacefully on August 4, 2006 at Memorial Hospital with loved ones at her side. She was born July 1, 1925 in Fertress, TX. to the union of Doroteo and Teresa (Chaidez) Gonzales. Her parents preceded her in death also a daughter, Josephine Flores; two brothers and one sister. Jesusa enjoyed playing bingo at her favorite place: bingo world; sewing and most of all family gathering with her children and grandchildren. She leaves to cherish her memory: her children: Natividad G. (Aide) Flores Jr. of Houston, TX; Maria Montoya (husband) Raymond C. Torres, Roberto G. Flores, Viola (Jesus) Gobea Saenz all of Colorado Springs; ten grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; three sisters: Sista Cantu, Audelia Gonzlaes and Aurora Quinoz all of Houston, TX; and host of other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held from 12:00 noon to 5:00 p.m. Monday, August 7, 2006 at Angelus Funeral Directors 2535 Airport Rd. following with a Rosary at 6:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 8, 2006 at St. Joseph Catholic Church (Southgate) 1830 S. Corona St. Interment Evergreen Cemetery.
