John W. Sulley, 95, of Colorado Springs, CO, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 7, 2024.
He was born in Council Bluffs, IA on May 27, 1928 to Oda and Alvina Sulley. He married Dorothy M. Voss on August 29, 1948. John and Dorothy moved their family to Colorado Springs in 1965. He worked as a Boiler Plant Operator Supervisor at Fort Carson.
He was preceded in death by Dorothy, his wife of 70 years and son John Sulley Jr. (Susan). The surviving children are Janis Zarayasi, Christopher Sulley (Stephanie), and Ann Sulley and 4 Grandchildren; Caitlin Sulley, Jeffrey Sulley (Hannah), Jessica Zarayasi, and Brian Sulley (Alex Kizewski).
A memorial service to celebrate John and Dorothy's lives will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, April 2, 2024 at The Springs Funeral Home, 3115 E. Platte Ave., Colorado Springs, CO 80909
