Our sincere condolences & prayers for the Bernstein family. Joey, you were an awesome friend and Harley Davidson mechanic. We're proud to say you were the one to bring our ol' shovelhead that'd been setting up for 2 years back to life again during the time in these past few months when you were fighting for your own. We will miss you brother...

When I first meet Joey 4 years ago, I thought he was going to be this mean ol SOB biker, but I was way wrong. He was kind, respectful and soft spoken, you never saw him mad and wear his feelings on his sleeves. I use to go to his shop every weekend and bring doughnuts, coffee etc. I just wanted to learn more about old bike Joey and Darrel were like my instructors. I'm going to really miss you brother, ride free forever.

I clearly remember the beautiful times, years ago at Dragon Man's, when their whole family was working and joking around together. To me (raised in a colder family)it was magical. Joseph was an incredibly smart and hard working man like his Dad. Very sorry to hear of this loss.

Life.....so fragile, Loss....so sudden, Heart....so broken,...in the wake of such a loss, we are haunted by things we dont, and may never understand. Yet the solace we seek may not come from answers. So we look for comfort in the belief of love's everlasting connection. May that love lift you and hold you close, and give you peace.

I met Joey in 2007 when I took my bike to Wild West Cycles for a repair. He was excellent mechanic and Wild West became the only shop I took my bike to. He was always friendly and thorough. I got a dog from his dad back in 1983 that lived for 17 years and enjoyed talking to him about old times when I was in his shop. He will be missed. Gone but not forgotten. I want his kids to know what a good man their father was.

I met Joey when he brought Jo-Lee to Ascension CLC when I was the director. He was amazing right from the start, always appreciative and first and foremost an amazing father. He always asked how myself and my staff were doing and always brought a smile. He will be missed.
