With very heavy hearts we announce the passing of Justin. He was born in Lewisville, Tx., moving to Colorado in 1986.
He is survived by his daughter Bailey, mother Starlyn Cowan, stepfather Greg Cowan, brother Cody Steidinger, stepsisters Tiffany Lang (Chris), Missy Cowan, grandparents Dave & Fern Donnan, Jim and Joan Steidinger, numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was proceeded in death by his father Greg Steidinger and grandparents Jerry and Carolyn Clark.
Justin had an amazing career in EMS. Since the age of 14 entering the program of Fire Explorer he was hooked, setting his career in motion. After several years of EMT work, he advanced to a paramedic, which was his calling. He had a very caring, serving heart. He received several awards for his service, CSFD Neighborhood award at an early age, and the Medal of Valor from AMR. He was honored to be able to serve in the medical capacity in Afghanistan, as well as New York and Puerto Rico following their hurricanes.
His daughter Bailey was his pride and joy and was the most important person in his life. She always gave him so much joy. He adored her and he loved her "to the moon and back".
Justin was a true blessing to everyone that knew him. He touched so many.
There will be a celebration of life on October 7, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at the Hillside Gardens, 1006 S. Institute, Colorado Springs, Co, 80903 An outside venue.
