March 22, 2022

Karen Olerich went home to Jesus on Tuesday, March 22, 2022. She was born to Walter and Ruby Klink on July 11, 1945, in Vail, Iowa.

Karen met her husband, Roger in high school and married shortly after

graduation, before moving to Chicago, Illinois and then Phoenix, Arizona. They went on to have three children, Jennifer, Paula, and Allisa.

In addition to being a dedicated and loving mother, Karen also loved being a seamstress.

Throughout her entire life, she held an unwavering faith in God, which she shared with those that surrounded her.

She is survived by her brothers, Gene (Artist) Klink and Randy (Cindy) Klink; children, Jennifer Heermance (Chris), Paula (Bob) Colvin, and Allisa (Roger) Elliot; as well as many grandchildren.

Karen is preceded in death by her father, Walter Klink; mother, Ruby Klink; and grandson, Victor Colvin.

In place of flowers, we ask that you consider donating funds to help cover our mom's funeral expenses. Donations can be mailed to Paula Colvin at mom's address, to go into an estate fund. We also have a fundraiser page, which you can find under my Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/donate/536563494562754/.

Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, April 1, 2022, at Holt Family Funeral Home in Canon City, CO. Arrangements made through Holt Family Funeral Home with online condolences at www.holtfamilyfuneralhomes.com.

I am so sorry to see that Karen has passed away. We were friends at Holy Cross but I moved away just over 6 years ago.
