My earliest memory of Kirk Hanna was about the 3rd Grade. We had a "Show-and-Tell" type event in class, Miss (Ruth) Lorainne was the Teacher. Anyway, Kirk wanted to show-off his "cowboy" prowess by "roping" a volunteer from the class.
I stuck up my hand and Kirk picked me. From the center of the room, I begun to run and Kirk had me roped before I had taken 3 steps, and I remember thinking that he wouldn't have caught me if I had galloped like a horse.
