Kyle Bastian Obituary

Kyle Max Wyatt Bastian July 17, 1984-April 7, 2006. Like a bright, shooting star that burns out too quickly, Kyle Max Wyatt Bastian has left this world to go onto the next. Kyle passed on April 7th after a long and valiant battle with an illness. We will remember how long and hard he fought with so many obstacles working against him. Kyle will always be remembered for his amazing heart and loving personality. Kyle was an artist in many forms with a great passion for music. He was a talented drummer for many bands including Dysfunctional Therapy, Zero Factor and North End Mafia. Kyle also wrote numerous works of poetry and music, worked as a tattoo artist and found comfort in drawing. Kyle's proudest moment was the birth of his son, Gabriel Keep. Among many of the things that Kyle meant to others, he will always be a son, brother, father and friend. Kyle was born in Raton, NM on July 17, 1984. Kyle experienced life and created friends in many places including Albuquerque, NM; Colorado Springs, CO; Phoenix, AZ and the greater Seattle area. Kyle is survived by his mother, Kimberlee Schreiber; his father, Emmett Wyatt Jr.; his son, Gabriel Keep (Nikki Keep); his brothers: Steven Schreiber and Jacob Wyatt; his sisters: Anecia Peterson (Brian Peterson) and Peyton Wyatt; his grandparents: Max and Yvonne Bastian and Joanne and Leonard Newblom; numerous family members and countless friends. Some beings shine so brightly that their light cannot last for long. Kyle was too brilliant of a spirit to be tied down by a physical body. He will be greatly missed, but never forgotten. Funeral services will be Saturday, April 15, 2006 The viewing will be at 1 p.m. and the service at 2 p.m. at the Castle Rock LDS Church, 701 Oakwood Drive, Castle Rock. In lieu of flowers, the family has set-up an education fund for Kyle's son, Gabriel at any US Bank or ENT Credit Union. Donations may be made under the name Kyle Bastian or Gabriel Keep. I did not know kyle's family, but i knew he had a son he loved very much. i met him about a year and a half ago through my friend travis who also passed away. With all my prayers and sympathy for you and yours....kyle will be missed.

My husband Jonathon Butler with his brothers, Thomas Medford, and Donovon Peace embarked on a road trip from Phoenix AZ to Colorado... not only to mourn their Tiny Rock Star, and brother Kyle...but to celebrate his life in a way only D.T. can...a way Kyle would want them to...like ROCK STARS...Trina, Leslie, and myself(arline) send our love with our husbands...I love and will deeply miss you Kyle.(and haha on me...yes, I cryed when you left too)

Emmett, Last week you sent me an email that I will always hold forever. I would like to return a part of that email back to you. They bring you an experience of peace or make you laugh. They may teach you something you have never done. They usually give you an unbelievable amount of joy. Believe it, it is real. But only for a season.!
