Laurie Purrington Obituary

I am finding this information now, in 2023, and had no idea "Laurie Lou" (which is what I called her) had crossed back to the other side. Hopefully it is as beautiful as she was. We worked together at two companies- Kaleida Labs and NetObjects - and had a great fondness for each other. We loved our chats and giggles, and I loved her sense of humor and wit. I know she is still around those of us who loved her. My condolences to those who loved her, too. Would love to know how she passed. If someone could email me about her later life before she passed, would love to know. Thank you. "Janet Jo-Bob", which is what she used to call me. Miss that girl.

Dear Laurie, I found a card the other day you gave me for my birthday a few years ago. Your birthday was December 10, and I thought of you dancing to music in heaven with the angels. I guess I will have to wait until I get there to dance together. oh, i got a little puppy from the Contra Costa shelter. You would love him. miss you. Love, Stefania

So many beautiful memories.  Thank you for all of the love and laughter.  Favorite adventures...Paris...Jackson Hole...Old Faithful in the winter...snowmobiling...totally off the beaten path.... just you and I and the buffalo watching as the sunset across the snow covered mountains with the majestic geysers in the foreground....most incredible sunset that I've ever seen...I'll meet you there.....bring Megan and Jenevieve....we will all dance with the wolves....until that day...you will always be in my heart...

Laurie touched so many lives. She is now with the angels with her charm bracelet jangling, her contagious deep laugh inspiring, her eyes sparkling, and her wonderful spirit of fun spreading throughout the heavens. She will be truly missed.

I will never forget Laurie dressed as Superwoman for Halloween...she was just that... a super woman with a zest for life!

Your fantastic laugh and sense of humor brought joy to everyone who knew you. Your Kappa sisters will always remember you!
