I've wanted for years to tell Brother Tyree what fruit he started in my life. He got me started in my Christian walk and although I lost touch with him and his family when I went into the Army, my faith continued to grow. Eventually I became an deacon and later an elder in the church I belong to and have raised 4 children to love the Lord too. One of them has done extensive missionary work around the world and is now an RN in our hospital and head of the OB department. I have no idea how many people that have been won to Christ just through my immediate family but Larry Tyree can be given credit for it. How I wish I could have told him so. I still think about him often.

Larry was a wonderful man and played an impoortant part in my spiritual life. I told him but words can't express how the seeds he planted so many years ago grew and mnade me the man I am today. My prayers go out to his children and grandchildren, but we all know he is in a better place.

I was saddened to hear the loss of Brother Tyree. He was an important part of me and my families life. As a young child I remember running and jumping into his arms yelling "Brother Tyree" full of joy. He was a wise and kind man that knew the importance of quality time. I feel blessed that he always took the time for me and my family. God bless his soul. I will celebrate his life with a donut and cup of coffee. I know he is in a better place and will continue to bless us with fond memories. Much love to him and his loved ones.

Saturday morning coffee.

I was so sorry to hear Larry's passing, even though I know he is in a better place. He was like family to us for more that 30 years.
I always knew when I flew in from Florida to visit mom and dad, that I would make no plans for Saturday morning becasue brother Tyree would be coming with donuts. I always looked forward to his jokes and stories.
He saw our family through so much, I will truely miss the love and prayers he always showed us.
May the Lord bless you all with peace and comfort.
He was loved and will be greatly missed.

I was so saddened to hear the news of Larry. I will always remember He and my Dad and Mom having coffee practically every Saturday morning with great conversation...! He was like a brother to my Dad and Mom. He was a big part of our family as we were growing up. Even my children looked forward to "Brother Tyree" visits! God Bless your family...I know he will be missed.
