Uncle Vince was my dad John's brother. I remember so many trips to their house to visit. He was so kind. You could see that in his Lubbers eyes. Many of my childhood memories are of Vince, Irma and the gang hanging with our gang. I am glad that he was in our lives and he will remain in my heart. God be with all of you at this time and always.

Blessed be the life of Vincent Lubbers. He loved his family, and was always glad to see everyone. I am so thankful that we got together at the family reunion! He loved calling me Moppy Kay, and always did, every time we saw him. He was a great person, and I know it is going to be a sad Christmas for you, losing both parents. Celebrate their lives and be together. Sorry we could not attend the funeral due to icy roads. Love to all

With thanks for our family and the support you all provide. It is that support and love that will bring us through this difficult time.
Dad was a very special man - I will miss him and am ever grateful that I can call him my father, my friend, my mentor.

I just read the obituary and saw the picture of Uncle Vincent. It is a great picture of him. He had such a loving smile and expression in his eyes. He will be so missed. I am so sorry for your loss. Marsha and I wanted to come, but the ice made it to risky to travel. We will think of you especially through Christmas. God Bless You All. Your cousin Dianne
