Lonnie Romine Obituary

I just heard today about Lonnie. I knew Lonnie throughout our 12 years of school at Kellyville, Okla. Also in the scouts. I'll never forget: Maybe we were both 11 or 12 and I happened to be in my dad's (the principal's) office at school. Lonnie calmly walked in with what looked like an extra elbow in his arm, it was so bent, and said, "Mr. Cartwright, I broke my arm." He had fallen off the rock wall in front of the school. Our condolences to April and the family.

Our sympathy goes out to the family and Lonnie's many friends. He was truly a character and will be missed by many. The job just isn't the same without Lonnie. April, you and your family are incredibly strong, Lonnie would be proud of all of you. God Bless!

Lonnie was a very good friend and Supervisor of mine, I've known Lonnie for 7 years, very humble man, anything asked of Lonnie he never asked how or why he just said ok I'll get it done. He will truely be missed here at LSI. May God continue to bless and comfort the family in this time of need.

My prayers are with the Romine family. I had the pleasure of Lonnie's friendship for many yaers and will miss him greatly. I pray that he is in God's presence.

Lonnie was a great man and supporter of soldiers while in uniform and after as a maintenance professional. He will be sorely missed by work associates, family and friends. May he have eternal rest and peace.
