Loretta Gordon Obituary

GORDON, Loretta (nee Aron). Peacefully at home, on Wednesday, October 31, 2007. Beloved wife of the late Morris. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Ida and Bernie Spector, Dorothy and Richard Rotholz, Sylvia and Teddy Quint, Donald and Judi Gordon. Cherished grandmother of Allan and Cheryl Spector, Linda and Howard Wiseman, Dr. Stacey Bernstein and Brian Furman, Laurie and Tim Morgan, Franceen and Darrin Zweig, Jonathan Bernstein, Jody and John Waxlax, Alyssa Quint and Daniel Steinman, Shoshana and Jonathan Melmed, Mia and Dr. Adam Rapoport, Jamey and Karen Gordon, Jackie and Brian Gordon, Michael and Amy Rotholz, Matthew and Shari Rotholz. Proud great-grandmother of Samantha, Corey and Chad; Haley, Kelsey and Annie; Jessica, Zack, Greg and Max; Noah and Sarah; Jacob and Katie; Lauren, Ryan and Tyler; Sophie, Emma and Matt; Oliver and Julia; and Henry. Dearest sister of Miriam Libman and predeceased by her two brothers and two sisters. Special thanks to her caregivers Lena, Sherwin and Vella for their exceptional devotion. The family would like to acknowledge with sincerest thanks Dr. Calvin Melmed and Dr. Michael Dworkind for their kindness. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. West on Friday, November 2 at 1:00 p.m. Burial at the Tifereth Beth David Jerusalem Congregation Cemetary, de la Savane. Shiva at 86 Downshire Rd., Hampstead. Contributions in Loretta's memory may be made to the "Morris and Loretta Gordon Memorial Fund" c/o the Jewish General Hospital Foundation, (514) 340-8251. She lived a long and fruitful life and has left a wonderful legacy.
