Margaret Sullivan Memoriam

Dear Mommy, I can't believe that it is five years today since you suddenly died in my arms. I realize now that you would not have it any other way. I miss you still so much that it truly makes me sick. I think about you every single day. Mom, you were not just my rock you werre the glue that kept me going. I have such a great life because of you! Just the other day I picked up the phone to tell you something funny and realized in that split second you were gone. I am still blessed with such incredible memories of you it is what keeps me going. We talk about you to the grandkids as if you are just around the corner. They know you so well, yet they have never felt your soft hands or your gentle touch. Five years and it is still just as fresh to me as if it were yesterday. You were such an awsome mom I believe I will never be the same. I am so grateful to have had you for 46 years! The girls have a nursery CD that plays all the time and of course "Ole Suzanna" comes on and I can still remember you holding me singing that over and over....it all comes back, I remember thinking...where is Suzanna? What does she look like? Then all the memories swimming back in my head and I re-live my whole life with you! The other day Matilda could not find her doll and she said; like Valley say's, "if you didn't find it you didn't look everywhere!" Mom, it was as if you were there talking to her. I love that they know you in every way! I learned so much from you! We pass down your legacy every single day. I will never ever forget your kindness, your compassion and your gentle ways. If I am half the Grammy you were, I will be blessed for the rest of my life. I love you so much! Your baby, Jackie
