She was amazing, she was impressive. She loved to sing and she had a wonderful booming voice when she did so. She cared for other people very much, after she retired she spent alot of time volunteering with care and share to distribute food and other goods to those in need. During the fall she would purchase jackets from the Goodwill and drive them to the homeless shelter in Colorado Springs.

She was one of the only people I'd ever met that was genuinely excited to learn about other people. Every nurse that came over was a chance to learn something new, she raved with excitement and appreciation for them.

She was rooting for all of her loved ones always. She reminded me and taught me to love myself and to be patient with myself.

She decided that she was done and she did not want to fight the issues that ravaged her body anymore. Although I am grateful that she is no longer suffering and I know this is what she wanted, I find myself still trying to catch my breath and I can feel my heart sink.

It's a weird excruciating world when you are walking through it without your loved ones.

I miss you every day.
