Mark Carson Obituary

Mark Carson was born February 16, 1986 in Kemnath, Germany. From there he moved with his family to Missouri and lived there until 1994. He also enjoyed three years in Hawaii before coming to Colorado in 1997. Mark was diagnosed with a rare cancer in February 2002. He fought very hard and accomplished great things. He graduated from Mitchell High School, receiving the class ring that he wore so proudly, attended college, drew beautiful artwork, conquered many video games, and made us laugh so hard. His long battle with cancer ended on April 13, 2005. Although the fight was long and painful, Mark remained strong until the end. He slipped away quickly, painlessly, and surrounded by family and friends--just as he wanted. Mark will live forever in the hearts of everyone who had the privilege of knowing him; especially: his mom, Karin; brother, Chris; sisters: Janina and Lisa; and beloved dog, Amy. He would not want to be mourned with tears, but remembered with laughter. His life will be celebrated with a service and small reception at 3:00 p.m. on April 23 at the Vista Grande Community Church, 5460 North Union. In lieu of flowers, a memorial account has been established at ENT Federal Credit Union.
