Martha Lynne (Walker) Peterson, born to James C. Walker DVM (deceased) and Carolyn (Rundell) Cassidy on August 21, 1968 in Concordia, Kansas. She is preceded in death by her sister Melanie and grandparents. She lost her six-and-a-half-year battle with cancer on December 8, 2021.
Martha is survived by her husband Scott Peterson, sons Michael (Eunice) and Malachi, grandson Brock, stepchildren Scotty, John and Rachel, step-grandchildren Aoife and Joshua, sisters Jamie (John) and Nicole (Steve) many nieces, and nephews. Memorial service will be held at Woodman Valley Chapel Rockrimmon campus, 280 E. Woodmen Rd., Colorado Springs, Colorado in the Stone Chapel on January 13, 2022, at 4pm.
In lieu of flower Martha had asked that we support an educational scholarship for her son Malachi and grandson Brock in her absence. Martha Peterson Children's Education Fund memorials can be sent to Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home, 325 W. 6th St Concordia Ks.,66901.

It broke our hearts to hear of Martha's passing. We love and miss you all, Jamie, Nicole and Carolyn.
To Martha, one of our long lost sisters, your battle is over now rest in peace. Say hi to Melanie and your dad and my mom and dad too! And now we look forward to a grand family reunion in heaven. Until we meet again...
