Mary M. Lopez Obituary
She was preceded in death by her husband Jake Lopez to whom she was married for 57 years. She was also preceded in death by her daughter Barbara Martinez, son Savino Lopez, 3 grandsons, a son-in-law, a sister and a brother.
Mary is survived by 5 children, Jake Lopez (Lorraine-deceased), Liz Mascarenas (Edward), Loretta Vigil (Bernard-deceased), Joan Barela (Fred), and Gerard Lopez (Tomie), and daughter-in-law Madeline Lopez.
She is also survived by 5 generations of family, which include 18 grandkids, 24 great-grandkids, 20 great-great-grandkids, 2 great-great-great-grandkids, nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Mary had a long, full and interesting life. She enjoyed gardening and when she was younger had the most beautiful flower gardens. As she aged she turned to watching the Colorado Rockies and the Denver Broncos. Most importantly, Mary was a devout Catholic and remained very active until her death. She will be greatly missed by all those who knew her.
Viewing will be held Thursday, September 26, 2013 from 5-7pm with Rosary to follow at 7:00pm at Cappadona Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held Friday, September 27, 2013 at 10:00am at Corpus Christi Catholic Church.
