Punky was a fun uncle. He taught me how to ride on Laddie, his old roping Palomino and I used to run steers for him years ago when he and Dave roped. He was always a source of a good story and recollecting the good ol' days. And of course, he was always one for goin' down to have a cup of coffee and talk. I will miss him. Rene

I remember Punky from my youth. My father also knew him fondly. I often thought of Punky through the years. It saddened me when I saw the notice on Lori's facebook page. My condolences go out to the whole family. I am sorry I can not be there for the services. Much love, Marcee Swarny

My deepest condolences to the Nussbaum family. Punky was a lively man and full of love and laughter. He was one of the first to ever teach me to ride a horse on his old horse Laddy. The Nussbaum's are like family to me and alot of my childhood memories are with Punky and the whole family. He will be greatly missed. I pray that God will comfort the entire family during this time of great loss. I wish I could be there. You all will be in my prayers!!
