Molly Bensberg Obituary

Molly Ann Bensberg, 30, of Colorado Springs, CO, passed away early on Monday morning, December 31, 2012. Molly was born on November 22, 1982 in Colorado Springs to Leslie Ellen and Richard (Gery) Bensberg. She grew up in beautiful Cheyenne Cañon. Molly attended Cheyenne Mountain Schools, going on to earn a degree in Early Childhood Development with honors. Molly had a wonderful childhood along with a very interesting and colorful adult life in the thick of cultures merging. She had a fun sense of humor. Sensitive to the "underdog" and to the injustices of life. Molly loved the great outdoors, while growing up she was involved in the tree care arborist industry and loved to climb up and see the world from the top of her favorite tree. Raising orphan squirrel and racoon babies when needed, returning them to the wild. She was involved in ancient forest preservation of wild lands. Molly loved her horses, was fond of traveling, cooking great food, hiking and camping, sharing all with her two young boys, which were the loves of her life! Molly was a beloved daughter, sister, mother, friend and child of God. She will be dearly missed by her family, friends and loved ones. Molly is survived by her children, Adrian and Emilio; parents, Leslie and Gery; grandmother, Yvonne; sisters, Heather (Craig) and Kelsey; brother, Jarman (Rachel); cousin, "Zach"; aunt, Karen (Jerry); uncle Jim and George; cousins, Samantha (Kainoa), Tyson (Heather), Tayler and Kadence. A memorial service will be held at 1pm Sunday at Cappadona Funeral Home Chapel, 1020 E. Filmore Street, Colorado Springs, CO, 719-520-1817.
