Vonore - Nadine Riley, age 98, of Vonore, TN, formerly of Colorado Springs, Colorado, passed away 7:30 P.M. Tuesday, February 21, 2023. Survivors, several nieces, nephews, great-nieces & great-nephews. Preceded in death by parents, Elmer C. & Alice Huddleson Riley, sister, Mary K. Bonneur, brother, Carl C. Riley, nieces, Karen Rose & Diane Sexton. A private family service will be held at a later date. Arrangements by Biereley-Hale Funeral Home, Madisonville, TN.

Miss Riley was my 6th-grade teacher along with Leland Leeper. They made a great team - he taught math and science and she taught language arts and social studies. She was a very caring and excellent teacher.

Deepest sympathies to Nadine's family. I believe she was one of my sixth grade teachers at Cheyenne Mountain Canon Elementary School many years ago. I remember her beautiful dark brown eyes that seemed to look right through you - especially if you were misbehaving in class. She was a good teacher and didn't take any bad behavior in her classroom. May she rest in peace and God be with you and your families for this sad time.
