Nancy Dickson Langstaff
Nancy Dickson Langstaff, 95 years old, was born on December 26, 1928 in Kingston, Pennsylvania to Frederick and Jessie Newhart. Nancy went peacefully to be with Jesus on Thursday, January 25, 2024.
Nancy's faith and love of family kept her strong throughout her life. After growing up and raising her family in Pasadena and then Newport Beach, California, at the age of 50 Nancy moved to Colorado Springs where she worked in the Colorado College Athletic Department for 17 years.
Everyone who knew Nancy loved her smile, her kindness and her positive spirit. She tried to find common ground and get along with everyone she met. She was an active church member and a strong supporter of the arts. She loved figure skating, golf and tennis.
Nancy is survived by her children: Linda, Dianne, Tom and stepson Richard; grandchildren: Rebecca, John, Aimee, Chelley, Kai, Mika and step grandson Chris; great grandchildren: Emelia, Annabelle, Imogen, Keran and Raiya. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 24 years, Richard Langstaff, her son David and her granddaughter, Tina.
A memorial service for Nancy will be held on Saturday, February 10 at 4:00 pm at the Broadmoor Community Church in Colorado Springs.
