Nathan Daniel Locke Church of Colorado Springs passed away on Feb 10, 2024, at the age of 35. Nathan was born April 28, 1988, to Eric and Cindy Locke.
He will be forever loved and remembered by his parents Michael, Cindy, and Eric; brothers Preston, Sage, Gunner, Kristoff, and their families; grandparents Patricia Locke and Jerry Hedricks. He joins in heaven his Nana and sister, Heather.
Nathan was intelligent and creative, with a love of music, writing, and art. A free spirit, he loved the outdoors and animals, especially his dog Avalon. Born with a loving soul and generous heart, he would help others before himself. Nathan's unique personality made it a joy to be in his presence. We celebrate his life and he'll be deeply missed.
Nathan graduated from Coronado HS and joined the US Marines and fought for his country in Afghanistan.
Service of remembrance at 11:00am. Academy Christian Church Westside, 2002 W Pikes Peak Ave, Monday, Feb 26, 2024. Viewing at 10:00am and military honors presented at Evergreen Cemetery.

Nate was a rare type of person. He was generous and kind, intelligent and funny, eager to learn new things and make new friends. He was more talented than he ever admitted and although he was a little shy sometimes, he had a wonderful sense of humor that made you want to laugh with him. He was a bright light in a world that can be very dark sometimes and I was blessed to have had the chance to know him, if only for a brief time. The world could use more people like Nate and his presence will be sorely missed. Until we meet again my friend...
