Patrick and I worked together 25 years ago in COS. Today, as I was going through old books, I pulled Women Who Run With the Wolves from the shelf and found Patrick’s card tucked inside. He left such a lasting and wonderful imprint on my life. Wish I had connected with him before he passed. He was full of lessons. May he rest in peace.

Patrick was a sweet and decent person I've ever met. He knew a lot of things and I really enjoyed many hours of conversation with him. He loved to share his knowledge of everything and respected my opinions, even when we differ.
I feel so sorry because I never expressed my gratitude for him. Patrick always took care of me and showed his affection unconditionally wherever he was. He was like a big tree that hid from the sun to me. I really appreciate his kindness.
Thank you for giving me your invariable affection, Patrick. I still really appreciate every time we met and love having you near. Meeting you was the best thing to ever happen to me. I will always miss you and you will always be in my heart.
May he rest in peace with his beloved parents in heaven.

I was a buddy and friend of Pat while at the University of Texas. We spent many hours discussing world events, running, and covering campus events. He was just then working on his writing degree with German minor. His professor was a friend and we´d joke about the classes. He was truly a versatile, intelligent, great American. I went directly into the USAF after graduation so I am sure he knows I got a good laugh over his joining US ARMY to serve our country later in life just showed his incredible abilitys. We´ll meet again buddy and figure out how to take over the country of Gabon!

Thank you for playing with me at Kangnam University. When I didn't have friends, you were my friend. Since my English was not good, the professor always prepared paper and pen. We had a great time communicating through drawings. The moments when I drew pictures with the professor and played English puzzle games are very precious memories for me. Professor, thank you always. I thought I would tell you in person someday. Although it's late, I'm finally saying thank you now.

I am deeply saddened at the news of Patrick´s passing. I worked with Patrick as a fellow copywriter at Shepard´s/McGraw Hill for six years. His ready smile, intelligence, writing talent, and sense of humor made him such a joy to know and work with. My wife Lynda and I lived close to where Patrick´s parents lived, and Patrick would occasionally drop by our house when he was in the neighborhood just to say hi and to chat. He always had some humorous story about someone in his large family. Our condolences to his family. Rest in peace, Patrick. We will always miss you.

We remember Patrick fondly as a sweet, smiling, kinda shy man who came from an amazing family. Our families got together frequently back in the day and Patrick was always just so kind and fun to talk to. We family is very sad that so many people will be without that sweet, shy, funny, smart man. Our deep condolences to the Forrest family.

I think the Republic of Korea owes the Forrest family many things. We received help from General Forrest John F. during the Korean War... and hundreds of students at Kangnam University in Korea received English conversation and advanced English education from his son Patrick. In addition, Patrick continued to protect the Republic of Korea as a reserve major in the US Army stationed in Korea, following in his father's footsteps. As someone who worked with Patrick at Kangnam University for over 20 years, I once again express my deepest condolences and sorrow to the Forrest family on Patrick's sudden death. It is heartbreaking that we will no longer be able to see Patrick's smile, who was always polite and kind and made people around him feel comfortable. I believe that the deceased will now rest in peace in the arms of his beloved mother and the father he respected. This photo was taken when he was packing up his luggage at the Kangnam University dormitory. I will upload other photos as I find them.
