With great love and deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Dr. Paul Michael Lanzisera, who departed this life on February 1, 2025, at home, surrounded by his beloved family, after a courageous six-month battle with pancreatic cancer.
Paul was born on February 10, 1958, in Fall River, Massachusetts, to Isidore and Rosemary Lanzisera. One of seven siblings, he was raised in a warm and lively Irish-Italian household, where faith, family, and laughter were ever present.
A dedicated scholar, Paul attended Bridgewater State University, earning his undergraduate degree in 1982, before pursuing his passion for dentistry at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, where he graduated in 1995. For 30 years, he served as a compassionate and skilled dentist, deeply committed to the well-being of his patients. He was a proud member of the American Dental Association, Colorado Dental Association, Colorado Springs Dental Society, and the Colorado Springs Dental Society Peer Review, demonstrating his dedication to his profession and his commitment to the highest standards of dental care.
It was in Grand Junction, Colorado, in 1986, while working at St. Mary's Hospital, that Paul met the love of his life, Becky. The two married soon after, sharing 37 wonderful years together. After completing dental school, Paul and Becky made their home in Colorado Springs, where he established his first practice and where they raised their beloved son, Nicholas. Paul remained in Colorado Springs for the rest of his life, finding joy in his work, his friendships, and, above all, his family.
Paul's warmth, kindness, and quiet strength touched the lives of all who knew him. A devoted husband, father, and friend, he will be remembered for his unwavering love, gentle humor, and the generosity of spirit he extended to others.
A Memorial Mass will be held at Our Lady of the Pines Catholic Church on March 8th at 10:00 a.m.
Paul and his family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to his many dear friends and patients for their kindness and support throughout his illness.

Known paul since high school. He was a good friend then and was never forgot where he came from played cyo basketball with him he didn't mind trash talking me but tge truth is he ba ked it up. He was alway better was sad to find out he was ill around Thanksgiving.
