Philip Adams Obituary

Philip F Adams went home to the Lord on July 7th. He celebrated his 95th birthday on June 8th with family and friends from Focus on the Family, where he had been a volunteer for many years.

Phil had been a pastor for 70 years and a hospital chaplain for 30 years at Northridge Hospital in California. He moved to Colorado Springs in 2004. Phil was married for 61 years to Phyllis Remmers Adams (deceased). He is survived by his four children: Jan Wieber, Ray Adams, Char Adams and Tricia Owen. He had 11 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

The YMCA was an important part of Phil's life for 82 years. He was given a membership at age 12 and continued with YMCA wherever he lived.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, July 30th, 2015, 10:30 a.m. at Woodmen Valley Chapel Colorado Springs - the Stone Chapel.

Memorial contributions may be made to Springs Rescue Mission, Grace Abounds and/or Victory Outreach, Colorado Springs, CO.
