Ralph Robinson Obituary

Ralph I. Robinson, 82, passed away on April 16, 2015 in Colorado Springs, CO. He was born in Sharon, Kansas to John J. and Winifred Robinson.

He served in the US Army during the Korean War. He graduated from Oklahoma City University and in 1958 married the love of his life, Donna Simmons. They moved to Colorado Springs where he taught at the Colorado School for the Deaf and Blind for 30 years, and worked as a general contractor and later at Hugh M. Woods.

He served in several capacities at Village Christian Church and Village Seven Presbyterian Church. He leaves behind a legacy as a kind and patient educator. He was a talented craftsman and woodworker. He was known as curious and inventive - always relied on to solve any problem and fix any thing.

As a father and grandfather, he was a constant, steady support and will be greatly missed. Survived by his wife of 57 years, daughters Annette and Sheryl, grandchildren Levi and Abra, and many family and friends.

Predeceased by his parents and by his son, Stephen. Memorial service and reception Tuesday, April 21st at 2 pm, at Village Seven Presbyterian Church, 4040 Nonchalant Circle South, Colorado Springs.
