Richard Ryan Obituary

Richard C. Ryan, 70, passed away on June 15, 2005 after a long illness. He was born February 23, 1935 in Watertown, NY to William and Carolyn Ryan. He married Ann M. Hennessey on July 4, 1975 in Lisbon, New Hampshire. Mr. Ryan is survived by his wife, Ann; his children: Timothy Ryan, Sean Lux and Lori Cleaton of Colorado Springs, Michael Ryan of Syracuse, NY, Maureen Van Wormer, Barbara Ryan and Christina Rheinhart of Watertown, NY; his sisters: Joan Stroud and Jean Simmons of Watertown, NY; and his brother, William Ryan of Alexandria Bay, NY. He was preceded in death by his parents. Visitation will be Sunday, June 19, 2005 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Dove-Witt Mortuary, 6630 S. Hwy 85/87, Fountain. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, June 20, 2005 at Holy Family Catholic Church, 331 Main Street, Security. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery, 1005 S. Hancock Avenue, Colorado Springs. Memorial contributions may be made to Penrose Critical Care Unit. Mr. Ryan retired from the U.S. Air Force after serving 27 years. He then worked at ITT Industries for 18 years. He was a loving husband and father who will be greatly missed.
