Roma Harvey Obituary

Roma LaVon Harvey, (72) born February 23, 1937 in Pueblo, Colorado to Philip and Hazel (Penington) Boll, went home with her Lord, August 3, 2009. Roma graduated from Centennial High School in 1955 and wed Dale Eldon Harvey on January 23, 1956. This union was blessed with five children: Janis (Vinnie) burns, Joni (Rick) Brugh, Judi Harvey, Jeffrey (Roxanne) Harvey and Jerry Harvey. Preceded in death by her parents, in-laws, Gladys and Lawrence Harvey, granddaughter, Stephanie Powers and sister-in-law Wilma Harvey, Roma leaves to morn her passing her husband, two sisters: Shara (Clark) Heinbaugh, Phyllis (Gary) Vigen; brothers-in-law: Larry, Bill (Joanne), and Rick Harvey; and sister-in-law Shirley Pickler; and extended family James (Tiny), Eileen and Jimmy Lamorte; and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews. One of her greatest joys in life was her precious grandchildren: Stacie (Rob) Barrera, Shane Powers; Michael (Meriah) Harvey, Ashley (Mikey) Ward, Amanda Brugh; Justin, Ryan, and Brandon (Jennifer Cowern) Harvey; Jacey and Logan Harvey; and Dean Rino. Roma was also blessed with five great grandchildren: Bailey Powers; Ariana and Emilee Barrera; Michael Harvey; and Ashtyn Mariolle. In addition to spending time with her family, friends and cats. Roma loved cooking, going to Cripple Creek, playing Peanuts and games of all kinds. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the American Diabetes Association in Roma's name. , 2480 West 26th Ave, Suite 120B, Denver, Colorado 80211). Services will be Saturday, August 8, 2:00pm at Pikes Peak Christian Church, 4955 Bradley Road, Colorado Springs, Colorado. There will be no graveside service.
