Ruth Clark-Hill Obituary

Ruth Anna

(Allen) Clark-Hill

January 4, 1930

October 5, 2021

Ruth Anna Alllen Clark-Hill, 91, 1455 Symphony Hts, Monument, CO passed peacefully at home with family.

Born to Jack and Lucia Allen in Inez, KY. Ruth has lived in many homes and many towns across the country in her lifetime. Ruth, affectionately known as Houchie, and GG (great grandmother) by family members, loved and lived every day passionately. She was always full of compliments, never judgmental, and made everyone feel good about themselves with her outgoing, joyful and loving personality. She adored her family, worried constantly about all of us, and was happiest when she could cook and take care of us all. Her other "Loves" included history and antiques. She collected and sold antiques for many years, and that love never faded. She was an avid reader, loved gardening, and had an amazing ability for decorating. She was married to Richard L Clark, 1949-1983 (deceased) and more recent to Kenneth W Hill, 1996-2011 (deceased). She is survived by her 3 children Teri (Mike) Dowdy, Monument, CO, Bill (Lynette) Clark, Buckley, MI, Barbara (Steve) Holmes, Delaware, OH, Sister: Sandy Bloom, Pickerington, OH, 7 Grandchildren, and 11 Great Grandchildren. GG was a Great Lady, and a woman of great Faith. She has taken Flight, and we know, is in the arms of Jesus. She will be missed terribly by all of us, as well as everyone who was Blessed to know her. A private home celebration of her life will take place at a later date.
