Ruthie was everything rolled into one. She was my friend, a mother like figure, a confidant, a listner, someone to be with at all times. She brightened my day each and every day I was around her. I love her and will always love her, to me she'll never be away from me.

Ruthie was the best! We bonded instantly and I will never forget her. We know for sure that we are born and that we will pass and everything in-between is up to us. Ruth filled her "in-between" with love, laughter, family and many friendships. She loved her children and was so very proud of each and everyone, she beamed when she spoke of her grandchildren. She was blessed with an abundance, and we were blessed for knowing her. My prayers are for her family and friends to remember Ruthie's "in-between". We love you Ruthie..you blessed your lives.

Ruth - what a wonderful person to remember! She could best be described as "all things beautiful". Wise, kind, loyal friend....are just a few attributes.

Ruth and I go back to grade school in DuBois, PA. She was smart, had a good sense of humor, and was popular in her school years as in her adult life. We were part of a "famous" singing trio in Jr. high school - fun to remember. One could not ask for a better friend and she will be greatly missed by family and friends alike.

What can I say that hasn't already been said? Ruthie was truly a wonderful woman and will be greatly missed! She always wore a smile, had a kind word and her door was always open. She was everyone's mother and grandmother.

God be with the entire Markle family during this time of mourning. Nancy, my friend, we think of you daily!

Love,

Linda & Bernie

I was always impressed with Ruthie's calm demeanor and gentle spirit, but those qualities did not come without a certain wit and charm. Her sense of humor was always lively, and she seemed to me to be one who had the ability to look anyone in the eye and treat them with dignity and respect. I learned to admire her greatly in the short time I knew her. I can honestly say she had more friends than anyone I've ever met. A good tree bears good fruit, and Ruthie bore great sons daughters and grandchildren. They will miss her, and so will I.

Nancy and all the family,

We are so very sorry for your loss of a special mother and fine Christian lady. What a blessing to have had her to guide you as you grew up and to be a dear friend to you as adults. She spoke to me in January of her concern for you at this time, saying,"I have had a good and full life. I am just concerned about her."(daughter)She seemed always to be thinking of others.

Our prayers are with you for comfort and strength.

Our love,

Marty & Phil Meinert
