Sarah Caroline Carter (née Cretien), beloved mother, daughter, sister, and wife, passed away this Sunday, March 20, 2022 at the age of 63. She was a resident of Colorado for over 35 years, and a registered nurse at Memorial Hospital Central for 20+ years.
Caroline had an insatiable thirst for life and all of its experiences. In addition to her decades of work on the Mother/Baby ward at Memorial Hospital; in her lifetime she was the captain of a sailboat, a hobbyist beekeeper, a wild horse tamer, an understated pianist, a school crossing guard, and so much more. Passionate and resilient, Caroline was an individual who was unapologetically herself. Her incredible wit and sense of humour will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
She survives through her children who are her pride and joy: Sarah Rachel Carter, Chase Carter, and Chance Carter. Her brother, Reagan Cretien; and her father Paul Cretien.
She is preceded in passing by her mother, and her blue and gold macaw, Maynard.
Her service will be held at Swan-Law Funeral Chapel at 2:00p.m. Monday March 28, 2022 at 501 N. Cascade Ave. Colorado Springs, CO
