Scott Allen Obituary

Scott Thomas Allen, 48, passed away December 4, 2006 in Canon City, CO. Scott was born on September 26, 1958 in Colorado Springs, CO to Luther L. and Shirley E. (Hooper) Allen. He married Leslie Anne Wooden in San Diego, CA. Scott was a farrier by trade. He enjoyed spending time with his children and rodeo's, even participated in bull riding competition. Scott is survived by his wife, Leslie of Florence; four children, Lacy Allen, Tara Allen, Taylor Allen and Samantha Allen; parents, Luther and Shirley; one sister, Chella (Robert) Dimenza; two brothers, Howard Allen and Luther Lee (Wendy) Allen II; nieces & nephews, Capri Mercer, Clayton Allen, Tyler Dimenza, Jordan Allen and Garrett Allen; and numerous aunts, uncles and other family members. Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Friday, December 8, 2006 at First Southern Baptist Church in Penrose, CO with Pastor Larry Packard officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family at Wells Fargo Bank, Penrose Branch, 210 Broadway, Penrose, CO 81240. Arrangements are handled by Holt Family Funeral Home.

I am so sorry...I remember Scott's smile, fun loving nature, cute personality and great sense of humor. Scott and Rick were the best of friends and had too much fun sometimes. I always knew there was trouble for me when those two got together :) I wish he could have beaten it. He will be missed greatly by his many friends and loved ones left behind.
