Sean David Curtis, beloved husband, son, brother & friend, passed away February 10, 2024 after a six-year courageous battle with cancer.
Born September 16, 1982 at Fort Belvoir, Virginia. Sean graduated from Doherty High School in 2001. He earned his Master's Degree in Networking from Denver Technical College in 2008. Sean met his future wife Sonia while they both worked at the Grocery store and married her June 18, 2010. Sean served in the USAF Reserves and was honorably discharged at the rank of SR Airman. Sean loved the Chicago Cubs, Denver Broncos, and Nuggets. Sean was known for his loving charity and caring for others above himself. He is survived by his Wife Sonia, Father William Curtis, Mother Pam Curtis (Abplanalp), Brothers William Jr, Michael, Kevin and Sister Lana Riggs (Carson), two nieces, two nephews, & multiple in-laws. He loved God and Jesus and was greeted by loved ones in Heaven that preceded him.

I remember Sean fondly. He worked on my team at FrontRange Solutions. He was always in the best mood and would walk down the isle to his desk, swinging his badge around. I'm so sorry to hear this sad news! Praying for the family and his lovely wife.

I just found out about Sean's passing and I am greatly pained by that fact. My condolences to his wife and family. Sean was an amazing friend of mine that I met through work at CenturyLink. We were teammates for a few years before I left the company. While I was there we sat in adjoining cubicles where we were able to share a love of watching the Colorado Avalanche. He was always ready and willing to step up and help me with whatever needed to be done at work. After I left, we kept in touch via text. I was always sad to hear of his health challenges but gave him as much support as I could. I regret not making more time to drive to the Springs and get coffee or share a meal. I don't have many friends, but will always count Sean as one of the better ones that I could have. Rest In Peace Sean. Know that I will always hold the memory of our friendship close to my heart. God bless.

Sending all of our love to the Curtis family! He fought along battle! While I only got to meet Sean afew times over the years,he will be deeply missed by so many! He was truly such a kind hearted person. Brandon and myself(Vicki) will keep you in our thoughts.

I am so saddened to hear this, Sean was such an amazing person. I got the pleasure of knowing him as my children and the Curtis family were neighbors. Knowing him he was always so respectful and courteous. I´m so glad I got the opportunity to know him. May you rest in peace. My prayers and condolences to the family.

Right before Xmas 2023 Sean was in the hospital and Rachel and I got him an early Xmas present and it was a Denver bronco hoodie and to see his face light up like that while lying in the hospital bed and staying so positive. We love and miss u Sean.
