Shirley Williams Obituary

Shirley returned to our Heavenly Father peacefully this May 24th after an extensive illness. She is survived by her deeply loving husband of 40 years, Henry (Frank) F. Williams III. Shirley is also survived by her sister Betty and brothers Maurice and William (Bill). Shirley continues to live on through her nine children; Eugene (Gene); William (Tom); Melody; George; Clarence (Greg); Lance; Richard; Harmony and Michael, her 23 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Shirley lead a full and extraordinary life encompassing her love and talent for music in the entertainment industry and an appreciation of God's handiwork through the beauty of nature. She was an adventuresome spirit who enjoyed travel coupled with extensive volunteer work through organizations including the American Legion, Eagles, Moose, V.F.W. and Elks. As Emblem Club President of Ridgecrest, Ca #248 Shirley enjoyed the personal blessings of bringing care and comfort to those in need. She will be missed by her family and friends at church, where she remained active until God decided HE needed her more. Shirley inspired those around her with her divine spark of light and she knows it continues to burn brightly within each of us today. We miss her so much and understand that in HIS good time we shall all be a family once more.

No earthly mother worked as fiercly to keep her children together, to provide for her family, to instill a joy of life and living as my mom. She was on earth an inspiration to those around her. I miss her so much. And love her ever so much more. Thank you, Mother for giving me life. For loving me and making me feel special, as you did for each of your children. And thank you for my father. He misses you tremendously and yet is a shining example of how each of us should conduct ourselves in your absence.

Your Loving daughter,

Harmony
