Stan was a very dear man. Always ready to be a friend. I miss him everyday. Not being able to just call and say "hi" makes me very sad. I'm sure his family will miss him dearly.

I worked with Stan at hp during the 60s and remember him as pleasant, well-disciplined and very likable. I remember that 4 of us,including Stan, rented a Cessna 162 or 182 and flew to Alamosa for breakfast one morning. Why? Because we were young and it seemed like the thing to do at the time! We all referred to him as 'Super Sabre' due to his initials, I don't know if he was aware of that at the time. And so, Super Saber, I wish you 'Godspeed, may the wind be always at your back'.

So sorry to hear of Stanley's death. I want to extend my sympathies to his sister, Velta, and his brothers and his children and their families. I was a classmate to Stanley in Goodland, KS. It is wonderful that he served the Lord in so many wonder ways.
