Steve is survived by his beloved wife Mary, his aunt June Salladay, cousins, nephews Charlie and Alan and spouses, 12 great nephews and nieces and numerous friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents Wayne and Dorothy and his brother Stan.
Steve, a proud Coloradan, was a graduate of Widefield High School in 1977 and lived in the area his entire life. He was a truck driver, master carpenter, business owner, and jack of all trades. There wasn't much he couldn't fix or build. If he didn't know how to do it, he'd teach himself.
Some of his work is in the Broadmoor, the Parade of Homes, and homes on Wood Avenue.
He loved fishing with his best friend, the outdoors, restoring his truck, and throwing darts.
Steve's Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, February 12, 2025 at 2:00 pm at Shrine of Remembrance, 1730 E. Fountain Boulevard, Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Rest in heaven cuz, you fought a good fight, you are an inspiration. You are going to be missed, but you will live on in our hearts. I have so many fond memories of when we were kids growing up. And I will treasure them always. Until we meet again Bean pole, I love you, Chubbs :)
