Steven Waldie Obituary

Steven James Waldie, age 33, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on March 12, 2014. Steve was born on February 13, 1981 in Colorado Springs, CO.

Steve graduated from Doherty High School and received a Bachelor's of Science degree from Colorado State University in 2003. Steve loved his daughter Kaylie Anne Waldie more than anything and she was his world. Steve loved to camp, spend time with family and friends, and was an avid Broncos fan. His funny sense of humor and loving heart will be missed.

Steve is survived by his parents: James Waldie and Patricia Waldie, his three sisters: Michelle Stringer, Julie Waldie (finance Travis Hartman), Lindsay McKenzie (husband Dan McKenzie), his nephew Maddon Stringer, his daughter Kaylie Waldie, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A celebration of Steve's life will be held for friends and family in Colorado Springs on March 21st at 1:00 pm at Woodmen Valley Stone Chapel 290 E. Woodmen Road.

In memory of Steve, the family requests that donations be made to Chase Bank. Funds will be allocated to various organizations that were important to Steve.

To the Waldie Family...we are so sorry to hear of Steve's passing. He was such a wonderful guy who loved everyone! All three of our daughters always thought he the greatest and we know that Courtney especially wished she could have been to attend his memorial. She is living in Orlando and couldn't come.
