Susan Rothrock Obituary

May 15, 1920 - October 15, 2008 Susan F. Rothrock, 88, passed away October 15, 2008 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She was born May 15, 1920 in Goodson, Missouri to Avis and Nella (Needham) Hawkins, who preceded her in death. Susan was one of 13 children, 1 brother and 9 sisters preceded her in death also. Susan was married to William Rockroth for 57 years when he passed away in 1998. She is survived by her daughter, Pamela (Douglas) Ingalls; grandson, Edward (Maegen) Tait; five great granddaughters, Aliah, Alexis, Allison, Ava and Amariah; and two sisters, Mae Scroggins and Jane Leavitt. Susan had been very active in her church. She enjoyed doing crafts and was famous to her family and friends for her incredible cooking. Visitation will be Tuesday, October 21, 2008 from 3-5 p.m. at Swan Law Funeral Directors. Funeral service is scheduled Wednesday, October 22 at 10:00 a.m., in the Swan Law Cascade Chapel, 501 N. Cascade Avenue, Colorado Springs. Burial will follow at 1:30 p.m., Fort Logan National Cemetery, Denver, Colorado. Memorial contributions may be made in Susan's name to Pikes Peak Hospice & Palliative Care, 825 E. Pikes Peak Avenue, Suite 600, Colorado Springs, Colorado 809034.
