Terry was born on September 28, 1938 in Ft. Dodge, Iowa and passed away in Colorado Springs on July 21, 2022. He was preceded in death by his parents Earl and Lorene Hendricks and his son David Stafford.
His family moved to Colorado Springs in 1952 where he graduated from Colorado Springs High in 1956, Colorado State University in 1961 and Willamette University School of Law in Salem, Oregon in 1964. He practiced law in Colorado Springs from 1964 to 2005.
Terry and his wife Carolyn Lans Stafford have three children. Jeffrey Hendricks, Colorado Springs, Craig (Christine) Hendricks of Canon City, and Dawn (Evan) Pedersen of Durango, Colorado. Six grandchildren. Nicholas (Rachel) Zaring of Erie, Colorado, Aubrey Hendricks and Ryan Hendricks of Florence, Colorado,
Kerry (Connor) Lynch of Bozeman, Montana, Katie Pedersen of Omaha, Nebraska and Kinsey Pedersen of Colorado Springs. And two great grandchildren, Levi and Harper of Florence, Colorado. Terry is also survived by his brother Joe (Rosita) Hendricks, brother and sisters-in-law and many nieces and nephews.
Terry enjoyed golfing and traveling (cruising) after retirement. And greatly enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
Terry requested that there be no services for him.
