RMCS USN (Ret) Thomas Anthony McLuckie, 83, passed away on Mon 09 Oct 2023 at his home in Mansfield TX. A native of Syracuse NY, he made Colorado Springs his home town for 37 years prior to residing in Oceanside CA and TX. He was born December 28, 1939 to George F. McLuckie Sr and Doris (Cottet) McLuckie.
Tom married Tokuko (Kawasaki) in 1965 in Tokyo, Japan. They were wed 58 years.
Without doubt his purest joy was being "Bompa" to his granddaughters Caitlin and Marina.
Tom was preceded in death by his father and mother, his sister Mary Jean O'Reilly and his brother George F. McLuckie, Jr.
Tom is survived by his spouse Tokuko, son LtCol Matthew (Rina) McLuckie USMC (Ret.) of Mansfield TX, daughters Regina (Sherman) Sidwell of Colo Springs, CO and Colleen McLuckie of Chicago,IL, granddaughters Caitlin Sidwell and Marina McLuckie, and nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at TCAL Church, Mansfield TX at 2:30 Sun 22 Oct 2023. The family will be greeting friends and family at the home of Mrs Tokuko McLuckie following. Interment at a later date will take place at Pikes Peak National Cemetery.
