I knew this day would come that I would see Dr. Sellers obituary-I very rarely look thru the obits but felt compelled to do so today, and now I know why...Over 25 yrs ago I became his patient thru the ER, and he literally saved my life up until the day he retired in 2010. Since then, I have never found another heart specialist in his field that ever gave me more than 2 minutes of their time. That was the wonder that was Dr. Sellers, and he's is the reason I found alt. methods of healing my heart and would not be here if not for my over 15 yrs as his patient, learning how to help my heart heal. The world is truly a better place for Dr. Sellers having been in it...My sincere condolences to the family.

I am so very saddened to learn of Dr. Sellers passing.
He was a man of great faith, a fantastic doctor and a comfort to all in his care. I truly enjoyed working with him in the CCU and ER at both Penrose and Memorial Hospitals. Dr. Sellers was a great teacher when it came to the electricity of the heart. He was incredibly talented, intelligent, patient and kind, especially when it came to the difficult cases lasting 10-15 hours in the EP lab. The medical field has lost an icon.
May the family find peace and comfort during this very difficult time. Until we all meet again, know he was a caring and loving man who changed many lives for the better! Godspeed Dr. Duncan Sellers.

You could find Dr Sellers reading his Bible on Thursday evenings if Bible study was postponed. When he wasn´t reading his Bible, you would find him going through his many photo albums, both the Bible and his family were his anchor. Such an inspiration and phenomenal patient that I will not forget. Rest in Heaven.

I knew Dr. Sellers professionally. I was a nurse at Geisinger and worked with many of his patients. I found him to be a very knowledgeable, kind and patient individual. I always respected him and thought very highly of him. My thoughts and prayers for his family.

I only knew Dr. Sellers for a few short months, but his light shined brightly. The love he had for his family was evident. I feel grateful that he shared the precious memories of those he loved with me. May his legacy continue to inspire all the healthcare workers and remind them of the reason we choose medicine. Most importantly, he was a faithful soldier to our Lord. Rest in Heaven.
