Timothy Powers Obituary

Tim Powers, son of Jack and JoAnn Powers of Colorado Springs, was born on October 9, 1958 at Barksdale AFB, Louisiana. He passed away on November 8, 2015 after battling brain cancer. Being born into a military family, Tim lived in several states and the Philippines before moving to Colorado Springs in 1974. He graduated from Mitchell High School and then moved to Southern California where he became a respected master trim carpenter. He lived in a number of places, and spent the last ten years in North Carolina where he enjoyed gardening and fine carpentry.

Tim was preceded in death by his beloved nephew, Zack Powers, and is survived by his parents, Jack and JoAnn; his son, Ryan, of Lighthouse Point, Florida; his brother, Roger and his wife Kim and their son Dustin, of Colorado Springs; his brother, Kevin and his wife Mistine and their children Rachel and Tyler, of Redding, California; and his wife, Sharon Brice.

Memorial Service, 2:00PM, Saturday, November 14, 2015 at The Springs Funeral Services, 3115 East Platte Avenue, Colorado Springs, Colorado, 80909.

As an expression of their deep appreciation, the family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in Tim's name to Pikes Peak Hospice, 2550 Tenderfoot Hill St., Colorado Springs, Colorado, 80906.
