Victor Otoupalik Obituary

Major Victor H. Otoupalik, USAF (Ret.), the last surviving child of Joseph and Frances Otoupalik, passed away at the age of 89 on Sunday, September 11, 2005 at the Pikes Peak Residence. Victor Hugo Otoupalik was born in David City, Nebraska on June 7, 1916, the fifth child of eight. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 49 years, Wanda Roberts Otoupalik, who passed away in 1991. He served 26 years in the Air Force, retiring in 1966. He is survived by his sons: Robert of California and Kent of Alaska; his daughter Debbie of Washington; three grandchildren: Kim Goss and Holly Baker of Washington and Bradley Otoupalik of California. Also surviving are four great grandsons: Daltyn, Austyn, and Zackry Baker of Washington and Christian Otoupalik of California and two great granddaughters: Amanda and Ashley Goss of Washington. Funeral services with Air Force Honors will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 17, 2005 at the Shrine of Remembrance "America the Beautiful" Chapel of Roses. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services in the Chapel. Entombment will be at the Shrine of Remembrance Mausoleum, Gate of Heaven.
