Virgil Wickham Obituary

Virgil Clayton Wickham Aug 18, 1915 - Sept 14, 2006. Virgil Clayton Wickham, 91, passed away of old age on September 14, 2006 surrounded by his loving family. He was a resident of Security, CO for 48 years and retired from Aircraft Mechanics Incorporated. He served in the Navy during World War II. Virgil was born on August 18, 1915 to Everett and Nellie (Drown) Wickham in Garden County, NE. On March 20, 1946 he married the love of his life, Marie F. Ord in Glenwood, IA. Out of this loving union three sons were born. Virgil is survived by his loving wife; three sons and their wives: Ronald (Eleice) Wickham, Edward (Jean) Wickham and Michael (Michele) Wickham.; 14 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren and his sister, Margie Chasteen. His parents, three brothers, one sister and four grandchildren and one great grandchild preceded him in death. A visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Monday, September 18, 2006 at the Shrine of Remembrance Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday at the Shrine of Remembrance "America the Beautiful" Chapel of Roses with burial to follow at Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
